I'm not sure where Syrillian got his; but I know that Lowe's sells them ans places like Home Depot and possible Ace Hardware should have them as well. If all else fails in getting them locally, there are numerous websites that carry different types of respirators and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Yah.
I am a very strong advocate for PPE. I got my respirator at Friedman Brothers (I think); it is a store that is similar to Lowes and Home Depot. CyberDruid ~ thanks for the input; always appreciated as I am best guided by experience... but the boils, and the hump that you grew... ...meh... a small price to pay for the experience and joy... besides, I can have my shirts tailored to fit...

Just FYI, USPS has free Tyvek suits.
You just have to build them yourself ![]() http://shop.usps.com/webapp/wcs/stor...1603&langId=-1

Neither of those bunny suits are quite right
![]() You need to be wearing a tyvek suit with hood and full face mask supplied air respirator with an SCBA on your back

The Tyvek suits are Ok for a few uses but there are better ones that are more like plastic with a cloth back that are way better. I guess what I am trying to say is that the Tyvek ones are fiberous and would hold particles on them where as a plastic suit the particles wouldn't stick to the suit as much and be easier to clean off. I use the plastic kind everyday for painting so I know that a good quality suit will last you a long time. They last me 2 months of hard core use, a tyvek one would last a day of painting but would be good for a short stint of cutting/ grinding maybe 14 days or so of use. Just my 2 cents.

While we're on the train of protective clothing, does anyone know (Duke I would presume you would know) where I can get a mechanic's jumpsuit? Like the ones you see mechanics wearing when they get under the hood.

Any industrial supply shop should have them or farm related stores. Not sure what stores you got there but here I can get them at Workworld, Marks Work Warehouse and many other places. Just Google work clothes and your State/area.
